Paying For Our Services

Our initial consultation lasts 15-30 minutes and is free! We will get to know you and your family, identify your care needs, budgeting concerns, preferences, dislikes, and location parameters, as well as discuss the next steps.

We prioritize finding the best options for your loved one, focusing on communities that deliver excellent care. Our suggestions are guided by what will serve your family’s needs most effectively, rather than any commission-based incentives. This service is completely free to you!

If you have already contacted A Place for Mom but need one-on-one assistance, we're here to help! Please note that many times in these cases, communities do not compensate advisors which means we do not receive payment for our services. If you would like an unbiased perspective, we will leverage our expertise to provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions and support you throughout the entire process. Our services are charged on a flat fee basis, ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 depending on the time commitment and needs.

We provide guidance and a tour to help you understand what to look for and expect, assisting you through the entire process. Skilled nursing facilities do not pay referral fees to advisors. This is a one-time fee of $750 to $1500 depending on time commitment and needs.

If your loved one is not receiving the care or services you expect, we can advocate for you. Our relationships with senior living communities, along with our certification as Senior Advisors, can often help achieve a positive outcome. This is charged at $175 per hour.

We understand that Medicaid can be frustrating and confusing. Our goal is to assist you in understanding the process, finding the right care or community, and navigating the Medicaid system. This is a one-time up-front fee of $750-$1500 depending on time commitment and needs.

When a loved one passes away, planning the memorial services can feel overwhelming. We are here to help, whether you need referrals or assistance with planning the entire celebration of life. Our services are available at an hourly rate, and packages can be provided upon request.

We understand that discussing the move to a senior living community or the necessity for in-home care can be a difficult and emotional experience for families. As an independent third party, we are here to facilitate these important conversations with compassion and understanding. Our experience allows us to help reduce stress and foster trust among aging family members. We believe in supporting you every step of the way. This is charged at $175 per hour.
