Hourly Caregivers work anywhere between 4-8 hours per shift per day. Depending on care needs this may include:
Minimum of 4 hours per day.
Help with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, toileting, walking, etc.
Personal hygiene & Incontinence care.
Alzheimer’s & Dementia care.
Escorts to appointments, meals, etc.
Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, etc.
Cooking meals including special diets.
Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
Oxygen assistance.
Glucose monitoring.
Sit/Stand lifts & Hoyers.
Emptying & recording Foley catheters and JP drains.
Non-medical feeding tube assistance on a case-by-case basis.
Live-in care involves a caregiver residing in the same home as your loved one to assist with daily living activities. This continuous care ensures 24-hour supervision and peace of mind. The services provided are comparable to those offered with hourly care; however, there are additional advantages to having 24-hour live-in care:
